In Fourth Ward (Suncrest, Evansdale, Sunnyside), a gentleman at 364 Kenmore Street would like to build an addition to his house which would encroach into the minimum side setback standard.

Also in Fourth Ward, City Neon at 1137 Van Voorhis Road would like to build a Wall sign for the “Fantasy Nail Salon & Spa” in Chelsea Square that is bigger than allowed by current standards.

Also in Fourth Ward, C & E Development has submitted a Development of Significant Impact Site Plan petition to construct a multi-family development with two buildings, 12 units, 18 bedrooms, and 14 parking spaces.

Also in Fourth Ward, a gentleman at 3129 Collins Ferry Road would like to change the land use classification for the Suncrest Cafe Hot Spot from a Tavern to a Private Club so that they can sell liquor as well as beer and wine.

In Fourth Ward (Suncrest, Evansdale, Sunnyside), Project Management Services, on behalf of Kevin Trembush, would like to seek variance relief from side yard setbacks. He wants to construct a wet/dry fire sprinkler system room. The proposed covered carport will be approximately six feet six inches from the side property boundary, which encroaches into the minimum side yard setback standard and requires variance approval by the Board of Zoning Appeals.

MARCH 2012
In Fourth Ward (Suncrest, Evansdale, Sunnyside), Andrew Smith returns to resolve a petition that was tabled at the December 21, 2011 hearing. He converted a single-family dwelling at 426 Drummond Street to a profesional services establishment. The property is zoned as a Professional, Office, and Residential district. The change in use requires a six-foot-wide sidewalk and a ten-foot landscape buffer along the front. He’s looking for an exemption from the requisite sidewalk and a reduction in the width of the landscape buffer, which requires approval by the Board of Zoning Appeals.
The Board of Zoning Appeals has postponed this issue for March.
Also in Fourth Ward, Idlewood Enterprises, LLC requests minor subdivision approval of property on Windsor Avenue.
